“Over the years, we've learned a great way to learn about a city's history and culture is by taking a culinary/food tour. Gourmet Walks and our guide hit the mark! Swan is very personable, knowledgeable, humorous, organized and full of energy! You can tell she has a wonderful rapport with the proprietors and encourages questions. “Found this tour looking for something else to do other then wine tasting. This tour was great, we were lucky only four in our group. We went to about 10 places and was well enough for lunch. This was a great opportunity for me to try out some different food, which I did a lot of this trip. We loved the stop at Hogs Island Oyster house and the fatted calf. We also stopped for wine at Vintage tasting room. If you love food I would try this tour out.”

Gourmet SF: Japantown/Fillmore Tour

“My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our [Gourmet SF: Japantown/Fillmore] Tour with Gourmet Walks in San Francisco. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and all of the food vendors where we stopped. She even gave us some additional suggestions for after the tour if we were still hungry, which we were not� The food was mostly delicious and occasionally interesting but outside of my taste range. It was a good mix between sweet and savory. By the end of the tour, most of us could only taste the last sample because we were so full. (Do not eat before the tour!) I would highly recommend this tour to people who like to see a slightly different side of San Francisco and enjoy sampling a variety of unusual (and some not so unusual) foods. We will definitely try another tour with Gourmet Walks in the future.”

“I purchased the Asian food tour for my girlfriend and I. My girlfriend grew up abroad in Japan, so I was excited to see what she thought of the tour� All the food was fantastic, and my girlfriend especially loved everything. We had mochi, okoniyaki, sushi, and some very traditional dishes. Andrea was very warm and friendly with a big smile. She offered many great facts, but didn't over do it... The tour is well organized, has great food, a good price, and has a really friendly guide. It's a good walking tour, but you can be in just about any shape to do it, with all the stops and very little hills. A great gift to someone if you like giving experiences instead of products!”
